The Craft Studio
We actually love all things crafty and that is just one of the reasons that The Crafty Elk Lodge is the place you will want to come for your scrapbook, card making, sewing/quilting, or other crafting retreats. From top to bottom this place was designed with you in mind. We want to make your crafting weekends as easy, hassle-free, and productive as possible.

A COMFY CHAIR
A rolling chair makes it easier to get in and out of your station. The mesh back gives good support and helps the chair "breathe" so you are comfortable longer.
A FEW EXTRAS
Extra storage shelf, mobile/electronic charging station, tool caddy for loose tools, and more.
Crop at the Top
Let us pamper you by taking care of all the cooking and cleaning for a change! Our "open-house"style weekend retreats - we call them "Crop at the Top"- are perfect for when you want dedicated time to get caught up on projects or to try out something new. We offer 4 day (Thursday - Sunday) retreats. You can also book your own private retreat at The Crafty Elk Lodge (see our rates and reservations page for availability).
For one flat price your weekend includes: lodging, work space, access to the tools and supplies in the craft studio, drinks, snacks, and meals starting with dinner on the first night and then breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the second an/or third night, and breakfast on our last morning together. We want to make your weekends as convenient and effortless as possible so each station includes the following:
PERSONAL WORK SPACE
A spacious 6-foot table to spread out on and work on all your projects from laying out a scrapbook page to making your 37th card front to putting the last few stitches on your nearly completed bordered diamond block that has sashings around each one.
OTTLITTE
An adjustable OttLite provides the best possible light. You can see colors as they actually are.
THE WORK ROOM
We have a dedicated work room which doesn't take up space in the crafting area. This is where the tools and supplies are stored so you have more room at your station. We have areas for cutting, laying out, and assembling your projects. We have 2 big shots and lots of stamps, dies, punches, embossing folders, scoring boards, and more!
THE "STORE"
In case you run out of some of your basic supplies, we have a "store" that is stocked with basic supplies and some essentials such as card stock (black, white, and a few other colors), Tombow glue, dimensionals, "snail" adhesive and refills. Change is limited and we accept electronic payments as well with a 3% electronic payment fee added to the price.
The Extras
Don't want the hassle of cooking or cleaning or having to assign teams for meals and clean up? This optional service will provide you with an on-site host who will take care of the shopping, prepping, cooking, and the clean up during your entire event. You can ask anyone who has taken advantage of this option - you will wonder why you didn't do this sooner.
